  • 8.8 oz dark chocolate
  • 7 oz butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (or rice flour)
  • to taste powdered sugar

How to make the chocolate cake in an air fryer

  • Let’s start preparing the chocolate cake in an air fryer. Finely chop the dark chocolate and melt it in a double boiler or microwave at 1382°F for 90 seconds. Remove the chocolate and work it with a whisk until it melts well and becomes smooth. Add the butter in pieces to the hot chocolate, stir and let it incorporate.

  • Beat the eggs with a fork and add them to the chocolate, also add the sugar and mix well until you get a nice smooth cream. Finally, add the sifted flour and incorporate it well to avoid lumps.

  • Butter the aluminum cups and dust them with unsweetened cocoa so that the cakes can easily come off later. Pour the chocolate mixture into the 6 cups and place them in the air fryer basket. Cook at 374°F for 13 minutes.

  • When the chocolate cakes in the air fryer are ready, remove them from the air fryer basket, turn them over onto the plate, remove the aluminum cup, and dust with powdered sugar, or add whipped cream, ice cream, or strawberries.
