Cod in air fryer is a tasty and easy-to-make fish main dish, and thanks to cooking in the air fryer, it is also much lighter than the classic fried cod. Once the cod is cooked plain in the air fryer, you just need to add some salt and, if you like, some lemon juice. Cod cooked in the air fryer has a crispy coating and a soft and not dry inside. This recipe is a valid alternative to BATTER FRIED COD as it is lighter since it is not fried in oil. I recommend also trying the VENETIAN COD RECIPES, all traditional from my Veneto. Now let’s see how to make Cod cooked in the air fryer, and if you try it, let me know. Barbara

How to make cod in an air fryer
Start preparing the cod in the air fryer, remove the skin from the cod, any bones, and cut it into pieces.
Pour some flour into a plate, breadcrumbs into another plate, and beat the eggs in a bowl with a fork, then add some salt and pepper.
Pass the cod pieces first in the flour, then in the beaten egg, and lastly in the breadcrumbs.
Place a parchment paper sheet in the air fryer basket, arrange the breaded cod, and spray a few puffs of oil. Cook at 356°F for 15 minutes, turning the cod pieces halfway through cooking and spraying with oil, continue cooking for the remaining time.
When cooking is finished, remove the cod, place it on a plate, and adjust the salt and pepper; if you like, add some lemon slices.
