Ingredients for preparing the Dark Chocolate Molten Cake

  • 7 oz Dark chocolate
  • 1/4 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 2/3 cup Flour
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 7 oz Milk (or plant-based beverage)
  • 3 tbsp Sunflower oil

How to prepare the Dark Chocolate Molten Cake

  • Let’s start preparing the Dark Chocolate Molten Cake, melt the chocolate with the oil in a double boiler, or for 2 minutes in the microwave at 750W.

  • When the chocolate is well melted, stir it until you get a homogeneous mixture, add the cocoa, sugar, a pinch of salt, baking powder, and flour, mixing carefully.

  • Slightly warm the milk or the plant-based beverage in a cup, you can do it in the microwave for 2 minutes. Slowly add it while constantly stirring to the previously prepared mixture; when smooth without lumps and well combined, pour it into muffin molds, you can use either the muffin tray and place the paper cups in it, or use silicone molds, or disposable aluminum ones.

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and when hot, insert the Dark Chocolate Molten Cake and bake at 350°F for 15 minutes. Before removing from the oven, do the toothpick test to check the cooking.

  • When cooked, take them out and let them cool. Serve the Dark Chocolate Molten Cake sprinkled with powdered sugar
