How to prepare the Easy and Quick Cake
Let’s start preparing the Easy and Quick Cake, put the butter in pieces in a bowl and melt it in the microwave or in a bain-marie. Pour the eggs into a bowl, add the sugar, and work with electric beaters until the eggs are nice and fluffy.
With the beaters running, slowly add the milk and melted butter, and when it is incorporated, grate the lemon peel and add the flour and baking powder, using the electric beaters continuously until you get a creamy and lump-free mixture.
Butter the cake pan and flour it, then remove the excess flour, pour the prepared mixture and level it.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F for 50 minutes. Before taking the cake out of the oven, do the toothpick test: if the toothpick comes out moist after inserting it into the cake, continue baking for a few more minutes.
Once the Easy and Quick Cake is cooked, remove it from the oven, let it cool in its cake pan, and once cold, remove it from the mold, place it on a serving plate, and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
