How to prepare Fennel in foil
Let’s start preparing the fennel in foil by washing the fennel, removing any bad leaves, and slicing them into thin slices about 1/4 inch with a sharp knife or mandoline for uniform thickness and even cooking.
Cut 4 squares of parchment paper, divide the sliced fennel into 4 parts, and place them in the center of the parchment paper sheets. Season with salt, pepper, and extra virgin olive oil.
Close the parcels and place them on the oven rack and bake at 356°F for 20 minutes. When cooking is complete, remove the parcels from the oven, open them, and serve the fennel hot.
