How to make grilled pleurotus mushrooms

  • Let’s start preparing the grilled pleurotus mushrooms, first clean the mushrooms, remove the white, tough stem, which I recommend not throwing away, you can chop it into small pieces and use it to make a delicious risotto. After cleaning the pleurotus mushrooms, rinse them quickly under water and pat them dry with a clean cloth or paper towel.

  • Heat the electric grill or griddle well, when it’s hot, arrange the pleurotus mushrooms neatly, cook them a few at a time, and as they are cooked, remove them and add more, cook them for a few minutes and then turn them over with a fork. To prevent them from drying out too much, do not cook them for too long.

  • As they are cooked, remove them from the electric grill or griddle and place them on a serving dish, then season with salt, pepper, and good extra virgin olive oil.
