Ingredients
- 1.75 lbs Shrimp
- 1 lemon
- 4 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 clove Garlic
- to taste Salt

How to prepare Lemon Shrimp
Let’s proceed with the preparation of Lemon Shrimp. First, clean the shrimp or prawns, remove the shell, slightly cut the top to remove the black thread that might be unpleasant under the teeth, and wash them thoroughly under running water.
In the pan, add the cleaned and halved garlic clove, add the extra virgin olive oil and let it flavor for a few minutes. Add the shrimp and put it on the heat. Meanwhile, grate the lemon zest over the shrimp. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice.
Pour the lemon juice over the shrimp and continue cooking for 5 minutes, turning the shrimp occasionally, add salt and pepper to taste.
When the lemon shrimp is cooked, remove from the heat and serve hot, perhaps with slices of lemon.
