Luganega in air fryer is a meat main course that is quick to prepare. Luganega is a long, thin pork sausage typical of Northern Italy, and it should be consumed cooked, used in risottos, grilled, baked, pan-fried, or, as in this case, cooked in an air fryer. With the air fryer, you won’t have any smell or smoke in the house, unlike when pan-frying or grilling. Here in Veneto, it is cooked after being rolled into a spiral and secured with crossed skewers. Once cooked, serve it with raw or grilled vegetables or baked potatoes. Cooking time in the air fryer may vary depending on your model; this is the AIR FRYER I use. Remember, pork must be well-cooked, so don’t hurry. Check out 50 AIR FRYER RECIPES and all air fryer recipes for more tasty dishes. How to make Luganega in the air fryer
Begin by preparing the luganega in the air fryer. Take the luganega, place it on a cutting board, and roll it into a spiral.
Secure it with two crossed skewers, then place the luganega in the air fryer basket and prick it in several places using a fork. Cook at 400°F for 20 minutes, turning halfway through.
When cooked, open the air fryer basket, remove the luganega, discard the skewers, cut it into pieces, and serve hot.
How to store Luganega cooked in the air fryer
Store in the refrigerator for 2 days, then simply reheat for a few minutes again in the air fryer.
