Meat-stuffed bell peppers in air fryer are an easy and very tasty main course. The meat remains tender, and you’ll have a complete dish, perfect for serving on special occasions. One stuffed pepper is for 2 people; I fill the entire pepper with meat and then cut it in half after cooking. Alternatively, you can cut the pepper in half lengthwise while raw and fill it to cook it already in two portions. The stuffed peppers cooked in the air fryer can be prepared in advance and reheated when serving. If you also love peppers, check out all my Recipes with peppers. How to prepare Meat-stuffed Bell Peppers in Air Fryer
Let’s start preparing the Meat-stuffed Bell Peppers in the air fryer. Cut off the top of the peppers and set it aside, remove the seeds and internal white filaments, and wash them well under running water. Boil a potato or you can also steam it or cook it in the microwave.
Put the ground beef in a bowl and work it with a fork, add an egg, extra virgin olive oil, the boiled and mashed potato, salt, and chopped parsley, mixing well to combine the ingredients with the meat. Now add breadcrumbs little by little and incorporate, mixing well.
Take the peppers and stuff them with the ground meat, place the peppers in a pan and also add the top part you cut off earlier. A disposable paper pan is also fine (like these HERE), sprinkle the meat with breadcrumbs and spray them with oil using the sprayer.
Cook in the air fryer at 375°F for 20/25 minutes, then open the basket and check the cooking. If necessary, continue cooking for another 5 minutes. Once cooked, remove from the air fryer and serve hot.
