Pan-fried baby squid, a simple seafood main dish that is ready in just a few minutes. The plain baby squid are very easy to prepare and can even be made in advance, using either fresh or frozen baby squid. If you have difficulty cleaning them, you can ask your fishmonger to do it for you. Otherwise, you will need to remove the central cartilage, which can be pulled out, and also remove the eyes and beak as well as the innards. Cleaning the baby squid is the most time-consuming part of preparing this dish. I suggest looking at other recipes with squid and cuttlefish because I’m sure you’ll find another recipe to try.
