How to prepare Paprika Chickpeas
Let’s start preparing the paprika chickpeas. Drain the chickpeas from their liquid and rinse them well under running water, pat them dry, and then place them in a bowl. Add the paprika, extra virgin olive oil, and salt, and mix well. Then add the cornstarch and mix further to ensure all the seasoning sticks to the chickpeas.
Cover the baking tray with parchment paper, and spread the chickpeas evenly so they do not overlap. Bake them in a preheated ventilated oven at 350°F for 25 minutes. Halfway through, open the oven and stir the chickpeas to ensure even cooking.
When the paprika chickpeas are ready, take them out of the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. They are also good at room temperature.
