Pasta snack, a delicious and simple appetizer or aperitif that you prepare in a short time and with very few ingredients. They are pasta chips, perfect as an alternative to ordinary chips, which will save your aperitif many times, especially if guests arrive unexpectedly, and you don’t know what to serve with a glass of wine. Some time ago, I prepared POTATO GNOCCHI IN AIR FRYER and a few months later, FRIED POTATO GNOCCHI, so you must try the pasta snack as well. To prepare it, I used small farfalle, but you can use the shape you prefer, though I always recommend a small format for easier snacking and quicker preparation. - 3.5 oz pasta

- to taste smoked paprika
- to taste salt

How to prepare the pasta snack
Let’s start preparing the pasta snack: pour some water into a pot, salt it, and bring it to a boil, add the pasta and cook it for 2 minutes less than the time indicated on the package. The farfalle I used required 6 minutes of cooking, and I drained them after 4 minutes.
Drain the pasta, then pour it onto a plate and let it cool slightly. Season with extra virgin olive oil, smoked paprika, black pepper, and chili pepper, mixing well to season all the pasta.
Now that the pasta is seasoned, let’s proceed to the next step to make the pasta crispy and achieve the aperitif pasta.
Place the pasta on a parchment paper suitable for the air fryer and cook it at 392°F for 10 minutes
Line the baking sheet with parchment paper, spread the pasta so it doesn’t overlap, and bake in a convection oven for 20 minutes.
If you want, you can fry it in plenty of oil for a few minutes, then simply remove it with a slotted spoon and place it on absorbent paper to soak up any excess oil.
