PASTA WITH BABY SQUID

  • 11 oz pasta
  • 14 oz baby squid
  • 1 clove garlic
  • to taste parsley
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • 3/4 cup cherry tomatoes

How to prepare Pasta with baby squid

  • Let’s start preparing Pasta with baby squid. Clean the baby squid, remove the innards, take out the central cartilage by just pulling it out, and also remove the eyes and beak, then rinse them under running water. Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half.

  • Pour water into a pot, put it on the stove, and when the water boils, add salt and the pasta. Cook according to the package instructions until al dente.

  • In a pan, add a clove of garlic and some extra virgin olive oil, let it infuse for a few minutes, then add the baby squid, season with salt, add parsley and cherry tomatoes, cook for 10 minutes, then remove the garlic clove.

  • Drain the pasta and add it to the pan with the baby squid, mix well, and if necessary, add some pasta cooking water to blend, sprinkle with parsley and serve the pasta hot.
