  • 2 1/8 cups pure alcohol
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 1/4 cups water

How to make peach liqueur

  • Let’s start making the peach liqueur. Wash the nectarines, remove the pit, and cut the peaches into small pieces. You need to obtain 800 g of just pulp.

  • Place the peach pulp in a large jar with an airtight lid, add the pure alcohol, and press the pulp so that the alcohol covers it. Close the jar and let it rest in a cool, dark place for 10 days, stirring daily and pressing the pulp well.

  • After the resting time, pour the sugar and water into a pot, place it over the heat, and bring to a boil. As soon as it starts boiling, remove from the heat and let cool completely.

  • When the sugar and water syrup is completely cold, place a strainer over the pot and pour the alcohol and peaches, allowing it to filter through and pressing the pulp well to release any absorbed alcohol.

  • Mix the alcohol and sugar-water syrup well so that they combine well. Transfer the peach liqueur into bottles and let it rest for at least 15 days before consuming.

  • Once ready, serve it cold or frozen.
