Puff pastry baskets with ham and mozzarella a delicious appetizer ready in just a few minutes and very easy to make. The ham and cheese puffs can also be served to accompany an aperitif, they are perfect for a buffet or as an afternoon snack for both adults and children. With one rectangular sheet of puff pastry, you’ll make 6 small puff pastry pizzas, so if you need more puffs, double the ingredients. I also recommend trying the SWEET PUFF PASTRY BASKETS. How to prepare puff pastry baskets with ham and mozzarella
Start preparing the puff pastry baskets with ham and mozzarella, keep the longer side of the puff pastry sheet in front of you and cut it into 6 rectangles, making L-shaped cuts on each rectangle as seen in the photo, leaving two corners intact for about 3/4 inch on each side.
Take the right flap and bring it to the opposite side, overlapping it by a few millimeters and do the same with the left side.
Press well on the edges to make them stick,
put a teaspoon of tomato sauce in the center and spread it without touching the edges,
sprinkle with oregano,
add cooked ham and
some mozzarella cubes for pizza. Bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F for 20 minutes.
Once cooked, remove the salty puff pastry baskets from the oven and serve them hot.
