Puff pastry snowflake is a delicious and quick cinnamon dessert that’s easy to make and wonderfully fragrant. It’s one of those winter desserts to enjoy with tea or a cup of hot chocolate while watching a good Christmas movie. These cinnamon puff pastry desserts have a flavor very similar to Palm Leaves that can also be found in supermarkets, but this time they have a very beautiful and more Christmas-like appearance. Now let’s see how to make the puff pastry snowflake, and if you try it, let me know. Barbara

How to prepare the puff pastry snowflake
Let’s start preparing the Puff pastry snowflakes. Unroll the puff pastry and use a pastry cutter to cut out circles. I made 10, they should always be an even number. You can also attach the scraps to make more circles if needed.
Melt the butter in a double boiler or in the microwave, brush some butter on the circle,
sprinkle with some sugar. I used brown sugar, but granulated sugar is fine too.
add some cinnamon
and cover with a second circle of puff pastry, pressing well so that the puff pastry sticks. Continue this way with the remaining puff pastry circles.
Place a small pastry cutter in the center, or alternatively, a bottle cap works as a measure to make the cuts. Starting from the central circle, make cuts up to the edge. First, cut into 4 parts, then each part should be cut into 4 more parts,
resulting in 16 wedges.
Remove the central circle and start twisting the wedges outward. Take two and twist them, then join them at the outer edge,
continue this way until completing the snowflake.
Brush butter on the central part of each snowflake,
sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Cook in a preheated static oven at 350°F for 20 minutes, then remove the tray from the oven and let the Puff pastry snowflakes cool completely. If you like, dust with powdered sugar.
