Turkey Tonnato is perfect if you’re in a hurry and want to prepare a tasty dish, ideal as an appetizer but also great as a main course. You can make it with roasted turkey or turkey cold cuts, which is why I said it’s really quick; just prepare the tonnato sauce and the dish is ready. Turkey Tonnato is a much quicker and more economical version of the traditional vealtonnato that is equally good and fresh. Also try the PORK LOIN TONNATO. This sauce is made without mayonnaise but with boiled eggs; if you prefer, you can also make it with tonnato sauce with mayonnaise. Now, let’s see how to make turkey tonnato, and if you try it, let me know. Barbara

How to prepare Turkey Tonnato
Let’s start preparing the turkey tonnato. Pour some water into a pot and add the eggs, which should be completely covered. Place them on the heat and cook for 7 minutes from when the water starts boiling, then pass them under cold running water to help peel them perfectly due to the thermal shock.
In the meantime, squeeze half a lemon and set the juice aside.
When the eggs are cooked, peel them,
cut them into pieces and put them in the blender jar,
add the capers and the anchovy fillets,
add the tuna after draining the oil,
the lemon juice
and blend until you obtain a smooth sauce.
Arrange the turkey slices on a serving platter,
Spread the tonnato sauce over all the slices
garnish with capers, lemon slices, and chopped parsley.
