Quick chocolate treats for Easter are perfect to use as placeholders on the Easter table, and after the holidays, they are perfect to make with the chocolate left in the pantry. To prepare these desserts, simply melt the white chocolate in a bain-marie and melt the butter in the microwave. They do not require baking but just a few minutes in the refrigerator or, if you are in a hurry, place them in the freezer for 10 minutes, the necessary time for the chocolate to solidify. You can decorate the chocolates for Easter with colorful eggs as I did or with chocolate eggs; you can also make them using a mini muffin pan so you can make them even smaller and maybe decorate them with just one egg. Throughout the year, you can prepare the WHITE CHOCOLATE and Nutella TREATS or the CHOCOLATE TREATS with peanut butter heart. How to prepare Quick Chocolate Treats for Easter
Let’s start preparing the Quick Chocolate Treats for Easter, blend the cookies,
melt the butter and pour over the blended cookies,
mix well until all the cookie crumbs are well soaked in butter.
Place paper liners in the muffin pan and pour in the cookies, pressing well with the back of a teaspoon to pack tightly.
Place a chocolate egg in the center and slightly press it onto the cookies, refrigerate for 30 minutes.
In the meantime, chop the white chocolate and melt it in a bain-marie.
Take the pan and pour white chocolate over each liner, tap the bottom of the pan so the chocolate levels out,
Add some dark chocolate shavings, I use a potato peeler and shave over the piece of dark chocolate, alternatively, you can grate the chocolate with a grater.
Place two colored or chocolate eggs as you prefer,
refrigerate for a few hours or, if in a hurry, place in the freezer for 10/15 minutes.
Once the chocolate has solidified, the Quick Chocolate Treats for Easter are ready, remove them from the pan and discard the paper liners.
How to store Quick Chocolate Treats for Easter
Store them at room temperature for 6/7 days; if temperatures are high, such as in summer, store them in the refrigerator in a container with a lid
