Salami Baskets an appetizer that is easy and tasty, and you can fill them as you wish and in many different ways. The salami baskets are perfect to serve at a buffet, as finger food, or to accompany an aperitif, perhaps served in Appetizer Bowls. To prepare these baked salami baskets, you can use slices of Milano salami as I have, or Hungarian salami, or even Venetian sopressa, as long as the slices are large enough to hold the ingredients. Now let’s see how to make the salami baskets, and if you try them, let me know. Barbara

How to prepare the Salami Baskets
Let’s start preparing the Salami Baskets. Arrange the salami slices in the muffin mold, trying to make them adhere well to the edges and the base,
put them in a preheated static oven at 356°F (180°C) for 5 minutes, then remove them and let them cool so that the slices firm up and become crispier.
Cut the mozzarella into small pieces and then pour it into a bowl,
wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them into pieces,
then add them to the bowl with the mozzarella,
season with salt,
add extra virgin olive oil,
some chopped basil leaves, and mix well.
When the salami baskets are cool, place them on a plate,
and add the mozzarella and cherry tomatoes,
decorate with a leaf of arugula or basil,
add some balsamic glaze or balsamic vinegar,
serve the Salami Baskets immediately or store them in the refrigerator until serving.
How to store the Salami Baskets
Store the Salami Baskets in the refrigerator for 1 day
