Salmon and avocado canapés are a delicious appetizer that is very easy to make and requires no cooking. These canapés with avocado and salmon are perfect to serve as finger food or as an accompaniment to an aperitif, ideal also during the Christmas holidays or for elegant lunches and dinners. To prepare them, you can use either smoked salmon or fresh salmon carpaccio. Make sure to buy fresh salmon from your trusted fishmonger, and it’s important to freeze it to eliminate parasites: it must be done at -4°F for at least 24 hours using a blast freezer, or at home you can keep it in the freezer at 0°F (three stars ***) for at least 96 hours. I also recommend checking out and saving in your favorites the SPECIAL CHRISTMAS RECIPES COLLECTION where you’ll find fantastic recipes of all kinds from starters to desserts, meat and fish dishes suitable for vegans and vegetarians, catering to every need.
