- 16 Large Shrimp
- 4 Squid

How to prepare Squid and Shrimp Skewers
Let’s start preparing the squid and shrimp skewers, clean the shrimp by removing the shell, cut along the back and use a toothpick to remove the black vein, rinse them under running water. Wash the squid, remove the beak, eyes, innards, and cartilage, separate the tentacles from the body and set them aside.
Skewer the squid, making sure to place the squid head at the ends, insert the squid body in an accordion shape and then a shrimp, continue alternating the ingredients, there should be 2 shrimp on each skewer.
Once the skewers are assembled, you can proceed with cooking.
Heat the grill pan or skillet and brush each skewer with oil, adding a pinch of salt and pepper. When the grill pan is hot, place the squid and shrimp skewers on it and cook for a couple of minutes on each side, turning them often. Serve them with a sprinkle of salt and a drizzle of oil.
Grease a baking sheet with oil, place the skewers, add salt and pepper, and cook at 356°F for 20 minutes
Place a baking sheet in the air fryer basket, arrange the skewers, add salt, pepper, and a few puffs of oil, and cook at 374°F for 15 minutes. Cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer model.
