Ingredients

- 12 slices prosciutto crudo (Italian dry-cured ham)
- 1.4 oz Parmesan (grated) — about 1/3 cup
- to taste salt
- to taste extra-virgin olive oil
Tools
- 1 Pot
- 1 Baking dish
- 1 Cutting board
Steps
The preparation of the GREEN BEAN AND PROSCIUTTO ROLLS is really very easy and quick.
Trim the ends of the green beans and rinse them. Fill a large pot with water and, once it reaches a boil, salt it and cook the green beans for 10 minutes. They should soften but remain crisp.
Drain them and place them in plenty of ice water to stop the cooking and fix the color.
Drain them and set aside.
Arrange the slices of cooked ham on a cutting board. Place a handful of green beans at one end, sprinkle with a teaspoon of Parmesan and roll the slice to form a roll.
Once all the rolls are assembled, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated, static oven at 356°F for 10–15 minutes.
Remove your green bean and prosciutto crudo rolls from the oven, plate them and drizzle with a little olive oil, and season lightly with salt if needed.
STORAGE
If you have leftover rolls, you can keep them in the refrigerator for 1 day in an airtight container. When ready to enjoy them, you can warm them in the oven for a few minutes or microwave for 20 seconds.
TIPS AND VARIATIONS
Once placed in the baking dish you can also sprinkle them with shaved cheese so that it melts and they become even more appetizing and tasty.
If you don’t have or don’t like prosciutto crudo you can replace it with cooked ham, speck or smoked pancetta.
