Ingredients for Chocolate-Covered Stuffed Dates
- 20 dates
- 4.2 oz 75% dark chocolate
- 20 almonds
- 20 toasted hazelnuts
Preparation of Chocolate-Covered Stuffed Dates
Melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie or microwave.
With a fine-tipped knife, make a cut in the center of each date and remove the pit.
Fill ten dates with two almonds each, and the remaining ones with 2 hazelnuts each.
Then, dip the stuffed dates into the melted chocolate and cover them generously.
Place them on a tray covered with parchment paper and let the chocolate set at room temperature. It will take about an hour.
When the stuffed and covered dates are ready, transfer them to a box or serving plate.
Suggestion
You can make the stuffed dates even more delicious by adding some chopped hazelnuts or almonds on top of the chocolate coating!
