  • 0.5 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 3 eggs
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 2.5 cups flour
  • 5 tbsp butter
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 5 oz dark chocolate
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar

Preparation of the Orange and Chocolate Bundt Cake

  • Wash the orange peel thoroughly with water and a little baking soda. Dry well and grate the peel, then extract their juice.

Beat the egg yolks with the sugar, then add the orange juice and peel. Mix well and add the flour, gradually, and the melted butter.

Separately, beat the egg whites until stiff and fold them into the mixture, stirring gently.

Then, also add the chocolate chips and sifted baking powder, continuing to mix for a few minutes.

Transfer the mixture into a greased and floured mold. Bake in a preheated oven at 340°F (170°C) for 30-35 minutes.

Once the baking time has passed, remove the cake and let it cool before removing it from the mold.

  • Chop the dark chocolate.

In a saucepan, heat the water with the powdered sugar, remove from the heat, and add the chocolate. Mix thoroughly to melt it and let it cool slightly before covering the cake.
