Ingredients for Pandoro Truffles with Pistachio and Chocolate

  • 23 oz pandoro
  • 30 tsps pistachio cream
  • 7 oz milk chocolate
  • 9 oz dark chocolate
  • 2 tbsps rum

Preparation of Pandoro Truffles with Pistachio and Chocolate

  • Melt the milk chocolate in a double boiler.

Next, cut the pandoro into pieces. Place a portion in the blender or food processor and start chopping. Then, add the remaining pieces and blend until the pandoro is evenly crumbled.

Pour the mixture into a bowl and add the melted chocolate and rum. Mix everything well, take a spoonful of the mixture, and press it into your hand, creating a hollow. Then, place a teaspoon of pistachio cream in the center and close it to form a ball.

Continue to make the truffles in this way until you’ve used up the mixture (you should have 30 pieces), and place them on a plate.

Now, also melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler and cover the truffles with it. Place them on a tray lined with parchment paper and let them rest for 15 minutes at room temperature.

Store the bon bons in the fridge until ready to serve.
