Ingredients for White Chocolate Salami

  • 7 oz white chocolate
  • 10.5 oz Digestive biscuits (or plain)
  • 1.4 oz pistachio chunks
  • 1.8 oz sugar
  • 5.3 oz butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.7 oz powdered sugar

Preparation of White Chocolate and Pistachio Salami

  • Melt the white chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave. Once melted, remove from heat and let it cool.

Crumble the plain biscuits coarsely in a bowl.

Meanwhile, in another bowl, cream the butter with electric beaters. Then, add the sugar and continue beating.

Next, add one egg at a time, continuing to beat with the electric beaters, until you get a smooth and homogeneous cream.

Pour the melted chocolate into the cream and mix well with a spatula. Add the crumbled biscuits and pistachios and knead everything together.

  • Place the mixture on a sheet of parchment paper and use the spatula to form a cylinder. Roll it in the paper and close the ends well.

Place the white chocolate and pistachio salami on a tray and let it rest in the refrigerator overnight.

After the resting time, remove the parchment paper and sprinkle the chocolate salami with powdered sugar. Serve cut into thick slices.
