Fake broccoli pizza is a tasty little recipe, I had seen it on various social media for a while and it piqued my curiosity, even though I was a bit doubtful about the result, so I told myself, let’s give it a try!
I obviously had to change my mind, it’s a quick and really tasty idea, especially if you are a broccoli lover, this is fundamental eh 😅 a great dinner saver when you don’t know what to invent anymore, and without feeling guilty!!
Yes, I know, the photo doesn’t do it justice, but I was running late for dinner and didn’t have time to take a good picture, you get me, right?
I prepared it like this 👇

- Difficulty: Very easy
- Cost: Very affordable
- Preparation time: 15 Minutes
- Portions: 4
- Cooking methods: Oven
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: Autumn, Winter and Spring
Ingredients
- 10 oz broccoli
- 1 egg
- 1 oz grated Parmesan cheese
- 3.5 oz tomato pulp
- 4 fillets anchovy in oil
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 mozzarella
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
- to taste dried oregano
- to taste Parmesan
Steps
Preheat the oven to 392°F.
Clean the broccoli, remove the harder part of the stem, cut into pieces and wash. Put it in a food processor and finely chop it, transfer it to a bowl and add the egg, cheese, salt, and pepper, mix well.
Line a baking tray or oven sheet with parchment paper, spread the mixture with your hands, pressing it and giving it the shape of a pizza, leaving the edge slightly higher.
Bake at 392°F on fan-forced for 15 minutes and in the meantime, prepare the topping.
Heat the tablespoon of oil and melt the anchovy fillets, then add the tomato pulp, adjust salt, pepper, and oregano to taste. Cut the mozzarella into cubes.
After 15 minutes, take out the base, spread the tomato and cover with mozzarella and a little grated or shaved Parmesan cheese, bake for another 6/7 minutes.
Your fake broccoli pizza is ready to enjoy.
