- 2 eggs
- 2 oz pancetta
- 1 cup zucchini
- 1 1/3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp Parmesan
- 1 tsp pumpkin seeds
- 1 tsp onion
Tools to prepare the keto lunch
Preparation
Put 1 tbsp of oil + 1 tsp of onion in a pan, let it soften then add 2 oz pancetta cut into cubes. When it starts to brown add 1 cup of zucchini julienned (or grated with large holes). Stir often and cook for 5 minutes.
Use a spoon to create two small wells in the center of the pan, then crack in 2 eggs. Cover with the lid, lower the heat and cook for 5 minutes, until the whites are set.
Transfer everything to a plate, then season with the remaining oil, 2 tbsp grated Parmesan and 1 tsp pumpkin seeds.

Does the keto diet work?
Based on my personal experience the keto diet works 100%. You eat plenty in the sense that the dishes are very filling, and during the day you don’t experience hunger spikes. You lose weight like I have never seen with other diets. The belly deflates and localized fat pads disappear. Recipes take 10 minutes to prepare; there are no elaborate preparations. This diet can be followed even if you have little time. The only caveat is that it is contraindicated for those with kidney or liver diseases, for people suffering from gout, for pregnant or breastfeeding women, and for growing adolescents.
