DELICIOUS AND COLORFUL CARNIVAL CAKE
The carnival cake is a delicious and very colorful dessert, with melted chocolate and lots of sprinkles on top, for a wonderful carnival party.
Carnival is coming, and kids can’t wait to dress up as their favorite characters, princesses, video games, and more. But we must also think of a nice dessert to offer for all the friends who will come over, or the neighbors, or simply for a colorful breakfast that brightens everyone’s day.
I propose this cake, so easy to make and so scenic that it will make both children and adults happy.

Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 150 sugar
- 1/3 cup sunflower oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 lemon
- 1 packet baking powder
- 3 1/2 oz white chocolate
- 1 1/2 tbsp butter
- colored sprinkles

Steps
In a bowl, break and add the eggs, then add sugar and start beating with electric whisks to incorporate air: our batter will be fluffier.
Let it run for a few minutes.
Now gradually add the rest of the ingredients, with the baking powder added last.
Line the cake pan with parchment paper and pour in our batter, preheat the convection oven to 340°F and bake for 45 minutes, for a conventional oven raise to 356°F, same baking time.
Always do the toothpick test (insert the toothpick into the cake, if it comes out clean it’s ready)
Let it cool well.
While the cake cools, melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave (with mine, it takes two minutes, but every 30 seconds I open the microwave door, stir the chocolate with a spoon, and continue melting, this way I keep it under control and avoid burning it).
Once the chocolate has melted, pour it over the cooled cake and decorate with colored sprinkles.
Wait at least an hour for the chocolate to solidify well.
