SPOON ORANGE CAKE WITHOUT USING THE SCALE
An orange cake without using the scale, just a kitchen spoon and the result is delicious.
I often have guests for dinner and I like to impress them with delicious but not too heavy desserts, and these types of bundt cakes come to our aid: simple, quick, and scenic, perfect to serve with a scoop of ice cream on the side 🙂
This one doesn’t even need many precautions; I always make it without using my scale: once the batteries abandoned me, this was perfect.
Let’s see how it’s made.

Steps
Let’s start by washing the oranges under running water and drying them with a cloth.
On a cutting board, we slice the oranges and set them aside; in a small pot, we pour the sugar with water and the juice of half a lemon, pour in the oranges and let cook for 10 minutes.
Let it cool.
In a bowl, we pour the eggs with the sugar and start whisking for a few minutes, then gradually add all the ingredients until, lastly, the baking powder.
Place parchment paper in the cake pan and arrange the chilled orange slices on the bottom, pour the batter on top and level well with a spatula.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and as soon as it reaches temperature, bake the cake.
Let it bake for 45 minutes and then do the toothpick test: insert a toothpick into the cake, if it comes out clean, it’s ready.
Let it cool well before removing from the pan.
The SPOON ORANGE CAKE WITHOUT USING THE SCALE is ready.
