Steps
For the preparation of the 4 Quick Savory Pastries with Puff Pastry watch the video HERE.
First Filling:
Blend assorted cured meats and cheeses as desired. If the mixture is too stiff, you can add a little water (depends on the types of cheese you use).
Second Filling:
Put the ricotta and spinach in a bowl and chop them a bit.
Add a bit of salt and mix.
Third Filling:
In a bowl, put the ricotta, chopped cooked ham, a little salt and pepper, the parmesan, and mix.
Assembly:
Unroll the first puff pastry sheet, make a strip along the edge with the first filling put into a piping bag. Roll it so the edge is underneath. Cut.
Do the same with the second filling. Cut the leftover puff pastry into 4, then cut one side of each piece with a pastry wheel. Put a bit of cream cheese on the uncut parts.
Cut the salmon into pieces and place a piece on top. Roll up. Bring the two rolls together and cut into pieces of desired size.
Arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving a little space between each. Continue like this until all ingredients are used. You can also use other types of fillings or make them with just sausages. If you want, you can also cut the puff pastry a bit with a wheel. The important thing is that the closure always remains underneath, otherwise they will open during baking.
Finally, brush them with a bit of milk or egg and sprinkle the various seeds on top to distinguish the flavors. Bake at 392°F for about 20 minutes.
Enjoy your meal!
