Apple jam without preservatives

Ingredients for apple jam without preservatives:
- 4.4 lbs apples
- 2 lemons
- 2 cups sugar
- cinnamon stick
- fresh ginger
- 1 glass water

First, we need to clean, wash, peel, and cut the apples. We put them in a large pot, then add some grated ginger to taste and the sugar.
We squeeze the lemons and add the obtained juice. We add the cinnamon, water, mix, then cook for about an hour.
We stir occasionally during cooking. Once the desired thickness is reached, we remove the cinnamon stick and immediately put it into sterilized jars.
We close them tightly and turn them upside down to create the vacuum effect. This way, the jam will preserve for about a year. If you want to keep it longer, boil the jars for about 20 minutes.
