Apple Pie!
A delicious pie made with classic shortcrust pastry and plenty of apples! The pie is the classic dessert that’s perfect for any occasion, from breakfast to dessert after dinner. It’s also great as a gift for friends and family!

Ingredients for the apple pie:
10-inch pan
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup butter
- Half packet baking powder
- vanilla
- salt
- 1 1/3 lbs apples
- 1/2 cup sugar
- ground cinnamon

Pastry preparation:
In a bowl, put the flour and sugar and mix. Add the baking powder, vanilla, butter, eggs, a pinch of salt, and combine.
Knead until obtaining a smooth, non-sticky dough. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Filling preparation:
In a pot, put the apple pieces, sugar, and ground cinnamon to taste.
Cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally and gently mashing the apples during cooking. Turn off and let cool.
After about 30 minutes, take the pastry and roll it out on a sheet of parchment paper, then place it in a floured tart pan. Fit and trim the excess.
Divide the leftover pastry into three parts and create strips to form three circles on top of the base. Put the prepared filling on top!
Bake at 355°F for about 40 minutes.
