Ingredients for the battered cod:

- 1 1/4 cups water

- cod
- vegetable oil (For frying)
Steps
The preparation of the battered cod is very simple, watch the video HERE.
Batter preparation:
In a bowl, put the flour, a bit of salt, the water and mix.
Cod preparation:
Cut the cod fillet into pieces of the desired size, use a brush to remove excess salt. Put the pieces in a resealable container covered with water.
Store in the fridge and change the water twice a day for 2/3 days. We need to desalinate and rehydrate the cod. After this process, drain it well and possibly dry it with a bit of paper and pass the pieces in the batter.
Then cook them for a few minutes on both sides. Place them on absorbent paper and continue with the rest.
Enjoy your meal!
