Ingredients for Bean and Ricotta Meatballs:

  • 1 cup cooked beans
  • 1/2 cup ricotta
  • pepper
  • garlic powder
  • turmeric powder
  • 2 cups tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup ricotta
  • 1 tbsp whole wheat flour
  • salt
  • 3 tbsps breadcrumbs
  • ginger powder

Steps

The preparation of the bean and ricotta meatballs is very simple, watch the video HERE.

  • Chop the well-drained cooked beans. Add the ricotta, spices to taste (turmeric, ginger, pepper, garlic) and mix.

  • Add the breadcrumbs and flour and combine. Take some of the mixture in your hands and form the meatballs. In a pan, add some oil.

  • Add the garlic and sauté. Add the tomato puree, a bit of salt, half a glass of water.

  • Cook for about 20 minutes. Add the meatballs and cook for another 20 minutes on low heat. Turn them halfway through cooking!

  • Enjoy your meal!
