Blackberry Jam
A delicious seasonal jam made with freshly picked, locally sourced blackberries. Personally, I love berries, whether eaten fresh, used in desserts, or made into jams. They’re not only delicious but have many health benefits for our body. In particular, blackberries are rich in antioxidants that help fight aging, inflammation, neurodegenerative diseases, and cancer. So, since we’re in the peak blackberry season, take advantage and consume them as much as possible!!!

Ingredients for the blackberry jam:
- 2.2 lbs blackberries
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 lemon (Juice)
Steps
To prepare the blackberry jam, watch the video HERE.
First, we wash the blackberries thoroughly, drain them well, then transfer them to a saucepan. We add the sugar
Add the squeezed lemon juice, then mix. Cover and put the saucepan in the fridge until the next day (this will release some juice). The next day
cook them for about an hour, stirring occasionally. At the end of cooking, we can leave it as is or blend it; I like to blend it slightly, so it remains in between 😁.
Once the desired thickness is reached, we put it in previously sterilized jars. We close the jars and invert them to create a vacuum seal. This way, it will keep for about a year, and if you want to preserve it longer, boil the jars again for about 20 min.
Enjoy!
