Chard Meatballs with Tuna and Anchovies

Chard Meatballs with Tuna and Anchovies

A simple recipe to prepare and excellent to enjoy as an appetizer or as a main course accompanied by a side dish. I often make chard meatballs but this time I chose to also add tuna and anchovies and I must say that I liked them a lot! If you like chard you absolutely have to try these meatballs! For cooking, I chose the air fryer but you can also use the oven or the pan!

I recommend you also try these recipes with chard:

Ingredients for Chard Meatballs with Tuna and Anchovies:

  • 7 oz chard (Boiled)
  • 7 oz potatoes
  • 5 oz tuna
  • 1.8 oz anchovies
  • 1.8 oz parmesan cheese
  • breadcrumbs
  • oregano

Steps:

The preparation of chard meatballs with tuna and anchovies is very simple and quick, watch the video HERE.

  • Let’s put the well-drained boiled chard and potatoes, the drained tuna, the anchovies, a bit of oregano, and blend.

  • We add the parmesan cheese and mix. Take a bit of the mixture and shape it with your hands to form the meatballs. We pass them in breadcrumbs and then place them in the basket of the air fryer.

  • Drizzle a bit of oil on top (I used the oil from the anchovies) and cook at 392°F for about 20 minutes.

  • Enjoy your meal!
