Cherry Cookies
It’s cherry season, so we need to take advantage of it by creating treats using them as much as possible. Some of you are lucky enough to have your own tree, and others like me are a bit less fortunate and have to buy them, and I must say they are very expensive 😁. So if you have any leftovers, send some my way 😂. I chose to make cookies by adding pitted cherries inside, and I really loved them, so I’ll try again using other fruits! If you don’t like cherries, you can alternatively use only chocolate chips, increasing the amount, of course!

Steps
The preparation of cherry cookies is very simple and quick, watch the video HERE.
In a bowl, we put the butter, egg, sugar, flour, vanilla, baking powder and knead quickly. Add the pitted cherries and chocolate chips,
mix. Take a bit of dough at a time and shape with your hands to form balls. Arrange them on the baking sheet with parchment paper inside, leaving some space between them as they will expand during baking! Bake at 350°F for about 20/25 min.
Enjoy!
