Chocolate and Caramel Cake
A delicious cake made with sponge cake filled with a layer of caramel cream enriched with peanuts and one of chocolate then covered with a layer of whipped cream, a real treat! The perfect dessert to end the meal any day of the week but also for parties of any kind!

Ingredients for the Chocolate and Caramel Cake:
- 2.64 oz sugar
- 0.42 cups whipping cream
- 2.12 tbsp butter
- 4.23 oz mascarpone
- 1.06 oz peanuts
- 0.51 cups milk
- 1.76 oz sugar
- 0.71 oz unsweetened cocoa powder
- 0.42 oz cornstarch
- 0.35 oz butter
- rum flavoring
- 3 sponge cake (Discs)
- sugar syrup (For soaking)
- 7.05 oz whipped cream

Caramel cream preparation:
In a small saucepan, caramelize the sugar. When it completely melts and reaches the desired color, add the butter and salt and let it melt.
Add the cream while stirring. Once ready, transfer it to a container. Add chopped peanuts and mascarpone.
Cover with plastic wrap and let it cool.
Chocolate cream preparation:
Combine the sugar, cornstarch, cocoa and mix. Gradually add the milk while stirring to avoid lumps.
Bring to the heat to thicken, stirring occasionally. Once thickened, turn off the heat.
Add the butter, rum flavoring, and mix. Cover with plastic wrap and let it cool.
Assembly:
Place the first sponge cake disc, soak it with sugar syrup and desired flavorings. Add a layer of chocolate cream. Add the second sponge cake disc,
soak it. Add a layer of caramel cream. Add the third, soak it.
Cover the entire cake with whipped cream and decorate as desired.
