Chocolate and Coconut Semifreddo
The warm season has arrived, and we are looking for fresh and as effortless as possible things to prepare. I recommend this semifreddo that you can prepare well in advance and store in the freezer until needed! It is perfect as a dessert at the end of a meal or as an afternoon snack! I chose to combine coconut and chocolate, which I think are two flavors that go very well together!

Ingredients for the chocolate and coconut semifreddo:
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tbsps cornstarch
- 1 1/2 tbsps butter
- rum flavoring
- 2/3 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 3 1/2 tbsps sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup sugar

The preparation of the chocolate and coconut semifreddo is very simple and quick, watch the video HERE.
Preparation of chocolate cream:
In a small pot, put the sugar, starch, and cocoa and mix. Gradually add the milk, mixing to avoid lumps. Place it on the stove to thicken.
Stir occasionally. Once thickened, turn off, add the butter.
Add a bit of rum flavoring. Mix well. Cover with plastic wrap and let cool.
For the coconut cream:
Add the slightly whipped cream, sugar,
Add the condensed milk, shredded coconut, and mix.
Assembly:
Place the two creams alternately in the mold. Gently tap
using a skewer, make circular movements. Cover and place in the freezer for a few hours.
