Chocolate and Cream Cake

Ingredients for the chocolate and cream cake:
- 1 cup milk
- 3 oz
- 2 oz egg yolks (About 3 yolks)
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- lemon
- 3 tbsp rice starch
- 6 oz egg whites (About 5)
- 9 oz flour
- 8 oz sugar
- 7 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 baking powder
- lemon zest
Steps
The preparation of the chocolate and cream cake is very simple to make, watch the video HERE.
Cream preparation:
Put the yolks, a pinch of salt, rice starch, cornstarch, sugar, add 1/2 cup of cold milk.
Mix together. Meanwhile, boil the remaining milk with lemon peel and add it while stirring. Place it in the microwave to thicken, taking it out every minute to stir.
It will take about 4/5 minutes depending on the power of your microwave. Once thickened, remove the peel.
Base preparation:
In a bowl, put the egg whites, a pinch of salt and beat them.
In another bowl, put the milk, oil, sugar, lemon zest and mix. Add the flour a little at a time while mixing.
Add the baking powder, cocoa and mix. Gently fold in the beaten egg whites. Pour the obtained mixture into the mold.
Add the previously prepared cream on top. Bake at 356°F for about 40 minutes.
