Cinnamon rolls
Very soft and highly aromatic rolls with a scent of cinnamon that can be felt from afar. A recipe originally Swedish but known throughout Europe and beyond. I had never made or even eaten them because I thought it wasn’t a pastry that would appeal to me, but as soon as I tasted a roll I thought, “how silly not to make them until now!” They are delicious brioches and the nice thing is that you can decide the amount of cinnamon based on your taste, initially I didn’t love it much but now I put tons of it 🤣.

Dough preparation:
We put the flour, sugar, egg, yeast, melted butter, milk, a pinch of salt and knead for about 15 minutes.
When it’s ready, we transfer it to a tall, narrow container, cover it and let it rise until it doubles in volume.
Filling preparation:
In a container we put the sugar, cinnamon,
Add the softened butter and mix.
After about an hour, place the dough on an oiled work surface
roll it out. Place the filling on top, spread and level it. Roll it up
brush the closure with a bit of milk. Cut the roll into 6 equal pieces. Place them in a baking pan upside down,
cover them and let them rise until doubled, then bake them at 350°F for about 40 min. Mix some powdered sugar and water and add it on top after baking.
Enjoy your meal!
