Citronade
A friend gave me some untreated organic citrons, so I immediately got to work and made a syrup with which I prepared a fresh and refreshing citronade. A great drink to serve any time of the day we feel like it. The citron is a particular fruit that resembles a giant lemon and its peel is rougher and harder.
If you have some citrons and don’t know what to do with them, try this recipe!

Ingredients for the citronade:
- 2 citrons
- 1.5 cups sugar
Steps
The preparation of the citronade is very simple, watch the video HERE.
First, wash the citrons thoroughly using a brush or a new sponge using the rough side. Remove the peel as thinly as possible avoiding the white part. Squeeze them to extract the juice to which we will add over the peels.
Add the sugar and blend. Cover the obtained mix and place it in the fridge for a day. The next day, strain it.
You can store the obtained syrup in the fridge and when needed prepare it by mixing 100 ml of syrup with 900 ml of flat or sparkling water!
Enjoy your meal!
