Cocoa and Ricotta Cake
A cake great for any time of the day, starting with breakfast and ending with dessert after a meal. In short, you can eat it whenever you feel like it. I have to say that ricotta cakes are among my favorites, but this one is SPECIAL; I think the combination of cocoa and ricotta is perfect! Try it, you won’t regret it!!!

Ingredients for Cocoa and Ricotta Cake:
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- Half packet baking powder for desserts
- 2 3/4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 10 1/2 oz ricotta
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- lemon zest

Base preparation:
Mix the eggs and sugar. Add the yogurt, oil, and baking powder.
Add the flour and cocoa. Pour the batter into the mold.
Cream preparation:
Combine the ricotta, sugar,
Add grated lemon zest, cornstarch, and eggs. Mix together and spread over the base.
Bake at 350°F for about 50 minutes.
