Coffee and Wafer Semifreddo
A fresh, summer dessert, perfect to enjoy on hot summer days as an after-meal dessert, snack, or afternoon treat! The beauty of these desserts is that we can prepare them whenever it’s convenient and store them in the freezer for months if needed! So if you have unexpected guests, you can relax ☺️. To add a bit of crunchiness, I chose to put wafers, which perfectly complement the prepared coffee cream!

Ingredients for the Coffee and Wafer Semifreddo:
- 5.3 oz condensed milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1.8 oz wafer
- 0.35 oz instant coffee
- whole hazelnuts (or chopped)
Steps
The preparation of the coffee and wafer semifreddo is very simple and quick, watch the video HERE.
First, dissolve the instant coffee with a bit of hot water and let it cool. Add the condensed milk, cream, and whip.
Add the coffee and mix. Place some chopped hazelnuts at the bottom of the mold, then add about half of the obtained cream.
Add the wafers in the center and whole hazelnuts on the edges. Pour the remaining cream on top.
Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for a few hours. Then remove the mold and decorate as desired.
