Haven’t decided what dessert to serve for Easter lunch yet? If you don’t have much time to prepare and want something simple and quick to make, I suggest trying this roll made with colomba and filled with jam (in my case), but if you don’t like jam, you can use any other cream you like, Nutella is also great, or a pistachio or almond spread!

Ingredients for the Colomba Roll:

  • 14 oz colomba
  • 6 tbsps butter
  • rum flavoring
  • 2 tbsps unsweetened cocoa powder
  • jam (As desired)

Steps

The preparation of the colomba roll is very simple and quick, watch the video HERE.

  • In a bowl, put the chopped colomba, cocoa, rum flavoring, melted butter and mix. If the mixture is too dry, add a little milk.

  • Place the plastic wrap on the work surface and add the mixture obtained. Compact it and spread it with your hands. Spread the jam on top and roll it up.

  • Put it in the fridge for a few hours. After a few hours, dust it with cocoa and cut it into slices.

  • Enjoy your meal!
