Eggless Lady’s Kisses

Eggless Lady’s Kisses

Delicious cookies made with almond shortcrust, butter, and no eggs, filled with hazelnut cream or jam. This was my first time making and tasting them, and I have to say they are DELICIOUS. I couldn’t stop eating them, and I can’t decide if I like them better with jam or hazelnut cream because they are both so very good. Lady’s Kisses are very simple to make and can be prepared a few days in advance, making them perfect for parties, birthdays, dessert buffets, or holidays like Christmas and New Year’s. The original version uses eggs, but since my husband doesn’t eat them, I made my version without and I can assure you that you won’t miss the eggs☺️

Try them and let me know what you think!

Steps

For the preparation of eggless Lady’s Kisses, watch the video HERE.

For this recipe, I used the stand mixer, but electric whisks work well too.

  • Place the room temperature butter, sugar, a bit of vanilla, and start to mix. Add the milk and incorporate all the ingredients well.

  • Add the almond flour and continue mixing. Finally, add the flour and knead. Place the obtained dough on the work surface, take a piece at a time and roll it out.

  • Roll into a log. Cut into small pieces (depending on the size you want for your kisses) and form balls. Place them on a baking sheet a little apart from each other.

  • Continue until all the dough is used up. Bake at 300°F for about 20 minutes. Once baking is finished, let them cool well, then flip them. Put a bit of jam or Nutella on one half.

  • Then pair them with the empty halves. Line them up and decorate with melted chocolate. Wait for the chocolate to harden!

  • Enjoy your meal!
