Homemade Strawberry and Mint Jam

  • 4 1/2 lb strawberries
  • 3 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 lemons

  • Thoroughly clean the strawberries, cut them into pieces and place them in a pot. Add the sugar, lemon juice and a few torn mint leaves. Stir and let rest for about 30 minutes (or even a few hours if you prefer a more intense flavor).

  • Place over medium heat and cook for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally. During cooking, remove any foam that forms on the surface. When the jam reaches the desired thickness,

  • immediately pour it into sterilized jars. Close them well and turn the jars upside down to create the vacuum seal.

    👉 If you want to store it longer, you can boil the jars for 20 minutes in water.
