Jewish Style Artichokes
A classic of Italian cuisine served as an appetizer. A very simple recipe made using only artichokes and frying oil. Artichokes are used in many recipes and each region has its typical recipe, for example, in Naples they make Neapolitan-style artichokes, in Rome Roman-style artichokes, in Sicily breaded artichokes, in Bari Artichokes, rice, and potatoes, etc. I must say I like them in all ways but fried like this in oil they become crispy and tasty.
Try these recipes with artichokes as well:

Steps
Preparing Jewish Style Artichokes is very simple and quick, watch the video HERE.
First, we need to clean the artichokes by removing the tougher outer leaves, then cut the tip and clean the stem. Gently open the leaves (watch the video). I recommend using gloves to avoid staining your hands. If you consume them immediately, wash them only with water; if not, put them in cold water with lemon to prevent them from browning. Dry them well with a paper towel (to avoid splashes once immersed).
Cook them in hot oil for a few minutes upside down, pressing slightly with tongs. If the stem remains out of the oil, rotate it to cook. Proceed similarly with all. Once cooked, place them on a paper towel.
Enjoy your meal!
