Ingredients for Lemon Jam with Vanilla and Cinnamon:
- 1 lemons (Untreated)
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- vanilla
- cinnamon powder
- baking soda
- 2 1/2 cups water
Steps
The preparation of lemon jam with vanilla and cinnamon is very simple, watch the video HERE.
First, we need to wash the fruit with water and baking soda using a brush or a rough sponge. Then rinse them and slice them thinly.
Cover with cold water and then with plastic wrap. Store in the fridge for about 24 hours. Repeat the process the next day and wait another 24 hours.
After a total of 48 hours, drain the lemon slices and cook them for about 15 min in clean water.
Drain them and put them back in the pot. Add sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla to taste.
Cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then blend and cook for another 10 min.
Once the desired thickness is reached, put it in previously sterilized jars. Close and turn them upside down to create a vacuum effect. If you want to store it for a longer time, boil the jars for about 20 min.
Enjoy your meal!
